Syed Mohammad Shadman Osman
Shadman is a passionate final-year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Sylhet Engineering College, affiliated with Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. With a strong academic foundation, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to addressing complex environmental challenges through data-driven, sustainable engineering solutions.
Shadman’s core expertise lies in water resources management and environmental monitoring. He is also interested in application of advanced computational models in environmental systems. In pursuit of his vision to contribute to a greener, more resilient future, he is mastering tools such as QGIS, and Google Earth Engine, and continuously expanding his knowledge in AI and hydrological modeling. His dedication to learning is matched by a strong sense of purpose—to serve vulnerable communities through innovation in environmental engineering.
Shadman’s research interests encompass flood and drought management, integrated water resource management (IWRM), climate change adaptation, and the water-energy-food nexus. He aspires to pursue higher studies abroad, aiming to collaborate with global experts and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies to tackle pressing environmental problems.
