Nusrat Zahan Bhuiyan
Nusrat Bhuiyan is the current Coordinator of the Research and Development Unit—Social Science School (Session: 2024-2025) and the ex-director of the Research and Development Unit (Session: 2023-2024).
She accomplished her bachelor’s studies from the Dept. of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Tejgaon College. Currently, she is pursuing her master of science (thesis) in the Dept. of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Independent University, Bangladesh. Since her bachelor’s degree, she has always been very keen to study the molecular biology of diseases.
Currently, she is conducting my master’s thesis on ocular autoimmune disease. She intends to continue her research in molecular disease biology to more precisely understand the molecular cause of autoimmunity.
In addition to her curricular studies, she is currently working on a research project at UniV. She has been a member of UniV since 2020 and an active volunteer since April 2021, working with UniV’s content management unit, language development unit, social media team, and research team.
Nusrat has worked as an event manager for several events and coordinated many workshops.
As a UniV volunteer and team lead, she believes in thinking outside the box, which will allow her to help all types of students from various backgrounds with all her knowledge and experiences.
The current motto of the research and development unit is: “Thinking out of the box”
In her free time, Nusrat enjoys reading, taking care of plants, learning about new software, travelling and fusion cooking.
