Md. Yeasin Arafat
Md. Yeasin Arafat works as an intern at the Research and Development Unit of the Social Science School at UniV.
He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2023 and his Master’s degree in 2024 from the University of Chittagong. Studying research methodology at the undergraduate level and completing a thesis during his Master’s developed a strong interest in social research, which later served as a foundation for his involvement in various social research projects.
In addition to his academic training, Yeasin has been actively involved in diverse research initiatives. He has co-authored two research papers on mental health issues, both currently under review in peer-reviewed journals. He has also worked as a research assistant on several faculty-led projects addressing social and political themes. He is engaged in multiple ongoing research projects across various areas of social science.
Yeasin has been teaching since 2018, focusing on Bangladesh and Global Studies, History, and Social Science. He has worked at various academic coaching centers and as a private tutor, where he designs and delivers customized lessons tailored to individual student needs.
Beyond his academic and professional engagements, Yeasin enjoys reading, traveling, and writing. These interests not only enrich his personal life but also inspire his perspectives in research and teaching.
