Abdullah Al Nafees is a Civil Engineering student at Sylhet Engineering College (SEC), under Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Bangladesh, with a current GPA of 3.80/4.00. His research focuses on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Mobility as a Service (MaaS), traffic modeling, and sustainable infrastructure, emphasizing machine learning and data-driven optimization for urban mobility and smart city development.

He has over 1.5 years of hands-on experience working on transportation engineering and smart infrastructure projects, including roles as a Research Assistant at B’Deshi Research Lab (Malaysia) and Data Analyst for DJL Training, Inc. (USA). His work applies artificial intelligence, geospatial analysis, and big data techniques to optimize traffic flow, public transport ridership, and roundabout metering under heterogeneous traffic conditions.

Abdullah actively publishes in international journals and conferences, contributes to interdisciplinary research, and leads as Vice President of the CE Centre of Research at SEC.
